I chose this business to wake up every day, look in the mirror and say, “ I love what I do for a living,” and whether at Goodby, Silverstein + Partners, Lowe, Merkley, McCann, Gardner Nelson + Partners/NYC – where I was Partner and ECD or, more recently, Positiv – an agency I co-founded, I love the rush of crafting a great idea and inspiring others to do so too.
With success, I’ve learned tons. I’ve been privileged to work with amazingly talented clients and partners – for Nike, UPS, Heineken, got milk?, Goldman Sachs, TicTac, Mecedes-Benz and Verizon. Launching Women’s Professional Soccer and National Grid in the US was an honor. (See "Clients" for others)
I’ve won Cannes Lions, Andy’s, Clios and London International Festivals to name a few. I’ve also been privileged to lecture and teach at the University of Arizona, Miami Ad School and participate in the mentoring program at VCU Brandcenter and The Newhouse school at Syracuse University.
When not working, I am enjoying life with my wife Angela and three kids, taking sport photography, pitching in on non-profits (POTS and BuyingTime.org) or on the ski slopes of Vermont as an active member of National Ski Patrol.
Work and life, it’s all positive.
