The impact of COVID-19 on New York has been tremendous. Among the many challenges: getting more New Yorkers to wear masks and social distance. New York’s State’s Governor, Andrew Cuomo launched a call for entries encouraging people to develop PSA’s and post them on social platforms to get the word out.
Work from clients that has just been launched, released, put on air or “officially” let out into the world.
Having had the opportunity to work on the California Milk Processor’s Board (got milk?) at Goodby Silverstein & Partner’s, I was fortunate enough to write a few of scripts and get my yellow lab Ben in a spot. It wasn’t until I moved to New York City that I got the opportunity to run the business for the rest of county. The “got milk?” work outside of California is broken up into two groups. The processors (the guys that wear suits) and the farmers (the guy who milk cows) – it’s great to be either one and I had the fortunate opportunity to work for them both.
Here are some examples of the work I have been a part of to help businesses launch business and grow business.
There are few brands as deeply rooted in sports culture as this one. A brand so driven by its own culture as much as it's driven by the sports it supports. When you think you've solved the challenge in front of you, the finish line moves and you push yourself just that little bit more in the hope that you will win or at least live up to the bar that this brand has set for you.
One word that epitomizes my experience on this brand at every level: motivating
With a city of over 8.4 million people, NYC is safer than it has ever been. In large part, thanks to the efforts of the NYPD. In order to maintain this sense of order and safety, the recruitment of new police officers is an ongoing mission to find the best, and the brightest to support a increasingly complex mission. Here is what we did to help.
Through the years Fila has taken on many personalities as a brand. They have made shoes and athletic apparel for every sport under the sun and have a long list of global athletes that have proudly worn their brand. After losing their way in the late 90’s to expensive athletic endorsements and a generation of rappers, Fila sought to get back to it’s roots of Italian style and the sports that made them known for who they are and who they want to be...tennis, running and the new addition of yoga. From it’s 103 year history and it deep roots in Biella, Italy was born the L’arte nello sport (The Art of Sport) campaign. Who better to help bring the artfulness of sport to life visually than esteemed sports photographer John Huet, so that is exactly who we hired and the results were amazing.
How a customer interacts with a brand's personal space is as important as the physical brand itself.
Having run the entire retail side of Verizon, I got the opportunity to be involved in the complete redesign of all of Verizon's retail space. I oversaw the implementation of our work over 1200 retail locations across the country.
The same attention to detail on Verizon was used to help National Grid develop "Grid Zones" in high profiles spaces like the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY and the Amphitheater at Jones Beach, as well as "booth design" during National Grid's launch of "Here with you. Here for you." across the brand's footprint.
We work within four walls, pull all-nighters and go 24-7. How do you keep it fresh? Get recharged? For me, it's when I got out and see the world through a camera lens. It is an opportunity to create and capture points in time that excite, inspire, and make you want to create. Here's a window into that outside world. Enjoy.
The work you see is yet to be released or work that was done to win a piece of business and is password protected for that reason.
